The restaurant’s cuisine serves traditional and regional cuisine, including lamb, Angus beef and sucking calf. Fresh fish and traditional pastries are also served. The restaurant regularly hosts specialty weeks and has a well-assorted wine cellar. The spa area of the Hotel Hotel Zum Schwarzen Bären includes a large indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, a new ice cabin and 2 saunas, infrared cabin as well as professional massages. Emmersdorf represents the western gate to the UNESCO-protected Wachau and is located right at the Danube Bike Path and the train line along the river. The famous Melk Abbey is located right on the other side of the Danube. Located halfway between Vienna and Linz, it is easily accessible via the A1 highway. The Melk exit is 2.5 miles away, the Pöchlarn exit 5 miles away. Hotel & Restaurant Donauhof's location provides the perfect starting point for excursions into the Wachau and to the many sights nearby. The cozy guest rooms invite you to relax and feel comfortable. A wide range of culinary specialties is served from a varied dining menu in the hotel's restaurant and on the sunny terrace.
