Next to the beach in the scenic village of Dunmore East, The Strand Inn features an on-site seafood restaurant, free parking and an outdoor patio with views of the Hook Head Lighthouse. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room at The Strand, as well as a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Many rooms also have a balcony overlooking the ocean. Fresh local seafood is served in the restaurant, which overlooks the bay. A range of steaks, poultry and vegetarian options are available for non-seafood eaters. Food can also be enjoyed on the patio, which can be fully covered and heated during colder months. Fishing and sailing can be enjoyed within the local area, and there are 5 golf courses within 10 miles of the property. Waterford city center can be reached in a 20-minute drive.
