Kapiti Waves Beach Retreat is located right on the beach in the lovely Pukerua Bay Village, with beautiful views of Kapiti Island. Guests can go for a walk on the beach or enjoy the rock pools. Grab the kayaks and go for a paddle and get close to the Stingrays playing in the late afternoon sun, only metres away from the rocky beach. The bed and breakfast is located just off SH1, 30 minutes' drive from Wellington City and Ferry Terminal. It is 15 minutes' walk from the train station which will take you to Westpac Stadium, the shops or the ferry. Kapiti Waves Beach Retreat can arrange a picnic basket for those wanting to hike 1 of the 2 trails that start at Pukerua Bay. The train is available at the end of both tracks to return back.
