Resort. Situated by Lake Orivesi in Kitee, Karjalan Helmi offers en suite accommodation with kitchen facilities and forest or lake views. Next to each cottage is a small private beach. Rowing boats can be borrowed for free. All apartments and cottages have dining areas and a TV. Cottages have a private sauna, kitchen and small BBQ, while apartments have kitchenettes. Guests can also buy food at the local grocery store, 7 km away. Free WiFi is available in the main building. Skiing, snowmobile safaris and fishing are popular activities in the area. Fishing excursions on Lake Orivesi can be arranged. Guests can also relax in the lakeside sauna or enjoy free access to the skating rink in the main building.
