The family owned resort has a beach area, restaurant and a small bar. Pemba Island is famous for its scuba diving opportunities. The rooms at Gecko Nature Lodge Home of Swahili Divers the BEST dive center and Famous Gecko Restaurant have a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. The beds are draped with a mosquito net. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the lodge and special diet menus can be arranged on advance request. The property has an outdoor pool and provides bike rental. A range of activities is available at the resort, such as snorkelling, kayaking in the mangroves, cultural tours fishing, spear fishing and bird watching. Scuba diving is available via the on-site dive centre, Swahili Divers.
